The Academy of Turkish Philately
Exhibition on “International Masters of German Postal History” and International Stamp Exchange Fair

The Exhibition on “International Masters of German Postal History” and the International Stamp Exchange Fair were held in Ulm/ GERMANY between October 24-26, 2024. High-end postal history collections and books in the field of postal history participated in the fair as competitors. The fair was organized by Deutschen Altbriefsammler-Vereins e.V. (German Postal History Collectors Association). In addition to the commercial activities of the country's postal organizations, stamp dealers, material supply companies, a symposium on postal history was organized during the fair. Each year one country is invited to the fair and Turkey is the invited country for 2024. Since the invitation of the Turkish Philately Academy to represent Turkey is of great importance in terms of confirming the place, representation and recognition of Turkish philately in the international arena and further strengthening our existing relations in the international philately community, high-level postal history collections participated in the competition on behalf of our country. The collections have been evaluated by a top jury from around the world and Europe under the rules of the FIP and BDPh (German Philatelists' Association).
At the end of the competition, gold, silver and bronze posthorn awards were given according to the jury's evaluation:
